Who We Are

Our Mission

Give help. Get help. It's as simple as that.

Mission Statement

HealthyWI exists to build a healthier, better-connected WI — for everyone.

For Nonprofit Members

We provide a closed-loop, reportable referral system — so agencies can connect clients to the right help, track every outcome, and prove their impact.

For Sponsors

Cover a nonprofit's membership — funding the tools they need to carry out their mission — and earn visibility across our member network and beyond.

For Wisconsin Residents

We maintain a free hub of owner-curated, up-to-date resources, healthy living tools, and wellness information — supporting the health of the whole person.

HealthyWI Leadership

The People Guiding HealthyWI

Sandy Pelicano
Sandra Pelicano
Executive Director of HealthyWI

Sandra Stanton brings an unusual mix to her role as Executive Director: movement science, small business ownership, digital strategy, and community health advocacy. She holds a B.F.A. from The Juilliard School and studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Sandy danced professionally as a principal with Twyla Tharp's touring company, then taught Tharp repertoire at colleges and universities across the U.S. and abroad — most recently as a Senior Lecturer at Hamilton College, where she built curriculum connecting the performing arts to health and human potential.

She also founded and ran her own ballet and yoga instruction businesses, teaching hundreds of students of every age and ability. That work sharpened her instincts for community outreach and for building programs from nothing.

As Director of Digital Marketing for an IT company, Sandy ran content, brand, social media, and PR — the communications skills a statewide health initiative depends on. She's spent her career on one idea: movement, wellness, and community connection are what people need to thrive.

Don Stanton
Don Stanton
HealthyWI Housing Liaison

Don Stanton has spent 25-plus years across real estate brokerage, property management, software development, tech support, training, and running his own businesses. That range is what makes him right for a job that sits where housing services, community partnerships, and technology meet.

As a former broker and property manager, Don knows the housing landscape from the ground up — the barriers families hit, the systems meant to serve them, and the gaps in between. His years as a programmer and support tech mean he can not only work inside complex platforms but teach them in a way that sticks.

At HealthyWI, Don is the bridge between the organization and housing leads and navigators across Wisconsin. He trains partner agencies on the housing CRM and referral system and keeps growing the roster of housing providers listed in InSERVio® and on healthywi.org, so residents who need stable housing get connected quickly.

Don's view is simple: housing is the foundation everything else is built on. His job is to make that foundation strong and well-coordinated — one resource, one referral, one trained navigator at a time.
